Teeth Whitening
Everyone loves a bright, white smile. Today there are a variety of products and procedures available to help you improve the color of your teeth. Some whitening procedures are done in our office with one visit. Other whitening agents can even be purchased over-the-counter. However, over-the-counter whitening agents will not whiten your teeth as quickly or as effectively as those delivered by a dentist.
Whitening requires half an hour of a patient’s time. Dr. Fox has a unique three step approach. First, we use a bleaching machine. Then we apply liquid calcium to your teeth as a coating and sealant. The liquid calcium technique was invented by Dr. Fox with the advice of a Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry and the dean of The Harvard School of Dental Medicine. The last step is to make custom trays for touch up bleaching at home. So that when teeth re-stain over time you can touch them up with a special bleaching agent at your convenience. This three-step approach is a cost effective way to keep the teeth white over a few years.
